wow, that “republicians want your help to change science” is scary. I am sure there are poor choices in funding, but it should have been peer reviewed -meaning that some group of scientist thought it was worthwhile for the RFA. It will be interesting to see what that website will do. Using crowdsourcing to govern tax spending for science is a little odd, but maybe you can poll your research project name and identify the best name that will pass the crowdsourcing criteria…
